At Scarlet Heart Sanctuary, our mission is simple: to provide a safe and loving home for senior dogs who are harder to adopt while inspiring compassion for all animals. We focus on rescuing dogs from shelters and offer them love and stability — possibly for the first time in their lives. We provide residents the best possible chance to thrive through training, enrichment, medical care and, when possible, we find them loving homes. We also work to educate the public on animal advocacy and care, showing people practical ways they can make a positive impact on animals every day. Our small team is dedicated to the well-being of every dog, carefully meeting their individual needs and always acting in their best interests. The sanctuary is a joyful, creative place where dogs and people alike experience kindness, care, and a sense of belonging.
